FAKHAR AND RIZWAN PLAYED WELL BUT NOT ENOUGH FOR PAKISTAN
BLACK CAPS CLINCH THE SERIES.
New Zealand won the three-match series 2-1 on Friday after defeating Pakistan in the third and final ODI at the Public Arena in Karachi. In pursuit of a target of 281, New Zealand cleared the finish line with 11 balls in excess. Glenn Phillips led the way with an undefeated 63, while Kane Williamson (53) and Devon Conway (52) all achieved hundreds at the top of the order. Earlier, Fakhar Zaman hit his ninth century and Mohammad Rizwan hit a solid 50 as Pakistan recorded a total of 280/9 against New Zealand in the third ODI in Karachi. After Pakistan had lost early wickets, Zaman smashed a magnificent 101, while Rizwan added with an important 77.
